CoopsOpen.com is the first and only weigh station status service in the world! Our service is simple, easy to use, affordable, and helps you avoid costly fines. By knowing whether or not the coops are open, you can make sure your logs are in order and your load is street legal BEFORE you ever approach an open coop. A simple log book violation can cost as much as $1000.00 per occurence. An overweight ticket can cost even more! Let's face it, no one logs while they are driving, and who pulls over every 2 hours to write in a comic book? With CoopsOpen.com, you'll know when and where you need to pull over and catch up your log book before you ever cross a scale!
How It Works:
After becoming a member of the CoopsOpen.com website for free, you'll be given a phone number that you can call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to hear the status of any of the weigh stations in our database. After you pass a coop, whether it was open or closed, call the same phone number, and update the open/closed status of the scale, and we'll give you another day of service FREE! So when you sign up, you get 30 days of service free, then all we ask of you, is for you to update one coop per day, your subscription will NEVER expire! This is a community effort that will be supported and maintained by YOU, the drivers!
